REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS
Refunds & Cancellations by the Participant:
- A full refund will be granted if we are notified 2 business days prior to the first class.
- Refunds or transfers will not be granted once a class has begun.
- Students may not “try out” a class.
- Refunds for medical reasons will be granted on a pro-rated basis, written verification by a physician is required.
Cancellations by Conejo Recreation & Park District:
- A full refund will be made if a class is canceled by the district prior to the starting date.
- Children may be dismissed from the program without a refund due to behavior problems.
Classes that are held during the day to meet the educational and socialization needs of home-schooled students. The academy meets on Mondays at the Cameron Center located at 288 Greenmeadow Drive in Thousand Oaks.
Golden Valley and Albert Einstein students wishing to use funds for classes must request a purchase order from their teachers. When the PO is received, we will contact you to complete registration.

The Conejo Recreation & Park District offers party packages for any occasion. Host your next event with us and enjoy the fun!
Designed for ages 3-12, CRPD birthday parties can be conducted at various park locations throughout the community and tailored to meet your family’s needs. The cost is $300 which includes a 2-hour party for up to 15 children, facility rental, decorations, and recreation leaders to run activities.
Extras: $5 per child; Additional Party Hour $100. Your choice of themes includes Princess, Pirate, Sport & Games, Under the Sea, Unicorn, Super Science, Cars Party, Block Party and more!
Come schedule a party rental at the Borchard Community Skatepark with our amazing staff and instructors. Your kids will have a blast using either scooters or skateboards! Pool Parties are great for any event you are celebrating, from your child's birthday party, graduation, or even a family reunion!
We've got something for everyone; with the help of our certified lifeguards, be reassured that your guests will stay safe throughout your event!
What To Do
- Fill out Pool Party Rental Agreement: 2020 Pool Party Reservation Packet (PDF)
- A signed copy of the Pool Party Rental Agreement must be turned into the Aquatics office.
- A walk-through of the facility at the time of your reservation is required.
- A date and time are confirmed with a 50% non-refundable deposit after the facility walk-through.
Conejo Recreation and Park District is pleased to offer a variety of Preschool and Prekindergarten options and locations to meet your child’s needs including:
PRESCHOOL (AGE 3-5)
Circle times, outdoor play, and socialization activities. Letter recognition is introduced. A non-parent participation program. All participants must be potty trained prior to the start of the program. No pull-ups. Child must be 3 by 9/1/2020. Lab fee payable to the instructor on the first day depending on program. NEW registrations may need birth certificate. Lab fees are collected at the time of registration. These fees pay for all the specialty activities and the personal activities and supplies for the children. Please bring a sack lunch. Payment plans available.
PREKINDERGARTEN (AGE 4-6)
Prekindergarten is designed to prepare your child in accordance with the Conejo Valley Unified School District’s expectations for Kindergarten students. It will include art, crafts, music, stories, movement, and emphasize fun and socialization.
Activities provide exposure to name writing, alphabet, shapes, colors, and cutting. Bring a sack lunch. Child must be eligible to attend Kindergarten in Fall 2020. NEW registrations may need birth certificate. All participants must be potty trained. No pull-ups. Lab fee payable at time of registration. Lab fees pay for all the specialty activities and the personal activities and supplies for the children. Payment plans are available.

Join our QuaranTEAM! We’re here for you when school is not! Featuring AM or PM care in 4-week sessions; students stay in the same group, overseen by consistent Recreation Staff. Includes art & crafts, S.T.E.M. projects, games, and outdoor activities. NEW: To accommodate CVUSD Wednesday login requirements, we are modifying our hours on Wednesdays ONLY. Students will need to bring their computers/chrome books from home, headphones, and login information and staff will assist with getting them logged on.
- Hours will be modified as follows on Wednesdays ONLY:
- AM group – 7:30AM – 12PM
- PM group – 12PM – 5:30PM
