| Volunteers are a vital part of CRPD. Thousand Oaks Community Center utilizes
youth, teen, and adult volunteers for classes, special events, and in our
community center office. To volunteer for any of the following opportunities

TOUCH A TRUCK SPECIAL EVENT
Location: Thousand Oaks Community Center
Date: Saturday, June 16
Time: 9:00am-3:00pm
Age: Volunteers must be at least 14 years old.
Volunteer assignments include:
Assist staff with the general set up and clean up of food booth,
wash a truck or beach ball drop areas, and/or assist with the
distribution of lunches.
FISHING FRENZY SPECIAL EVENT
Location: Conejo Creek North Park (Behind T.O. Library)
Date: Saturday, August 4
Time: 9:30am-2:30pm
Age: Volunteers must be at least 14 years old.
Volunteer assignments include:
Assist staff with the set-up, implementation of and clean up
of activity and prize booths, assist with release of and return of
magnetic fish, and/or assist with handing out/collection of fishing
poles.

Volunteer assignments may include:
Assisting staff members with daily set up, implementation,
and clean up of all scheduled activities (crafts, games, sports,
water play, etc), and ensure safety and fun of all participants.
