Teach a Class with Us
Thank you for your interest in providing a new program for the Conejo Recreation & Park District!
Our goal is to offer a wide variety of quality programs to the community. We receive a large number of proposals, and while we do our best to provide for all types of programming, not all proposals can be accepted. If there is interest in offering your proposed program at one of our facilities, a Recreation Supervisor will contact you; please allow up to four (4) weeks for a response.
Expectation & Guidelines
- Instructors determine their own program fees. A processing fee of $3 per registration is also charged and retained by CRPD. The remaining revenue from programs is split between the instructor and CRPD, typically with 60% going to the instructor and 40% going to CRPD.
- Programs are scheduled for 8-week sessions held five (5) times per year: Winter (Jan-Feb), Spring (Mar-May), Summer (Jun-Aug), Fall (Sept-Oct), and Fall/Winter (Nov-Dec).
- All instructors are required to provide proof of General Liability Insurance upon contract signing. For additional information, see our Insurance Requirements for Independent Contractors.
- Instructors are expected to follow the CRPD Code of Conduct and comply with all city, county, and state regulations.
