Kimber Park

3295 Bear Creek Drive, Newbury Park, CA 91320

A park with a winding path, grass, scattered rocks, trees, a playground, and hills in the background under a cloudy sky.

The 8 scenic acres of land for Kimber Park were acquired in 1979, with development into a neighborhood park in 2001.  Local neighborhood volunteers and the City of Thousand Oaks provided the additional funds necessary to complete the park.  The large open turf areas, picnic structure, and play area have sweeping views of the Conejo Valley and local foothills.  Close to the park is access to many open space trails. In 2020, the playground was renovated with tree fort-themed play equipment.
