Explore the Outdoors with Our Programs

Our Outdoor Recreation Unit offers a variety of programs designed to get families, kids, and adults exploring and enjoying the beautiful nature of the Conejo Valley! Join us for seasonal hikes and events like Holiday S’mores, Tarantula Hike, One Day Wildwood Camp, Wildflower Hike, Dinosaur Dig, and Jingle Bell Hike.

Looking for hands-on learning and fun? Try our outdoor classes, including Parent & Me Hiking Club, Play N' Learn in Nature, Bonkers for Bugs!, Outdoor Camping and Cooking Skills, and Archery.

Looking for a more challenging hike: Try the Open Space Appreciation Hikes, which range from Moderate to Very Strenuous.

Whether you’re hiking, learning new skills, or spending quality time outdoors with your child, our programs provide adventure, education, and lasting memories in the beautiful Conejo Valley.
