Pickleball at Del Prado PlayfieldWhat is pickleball? A fun sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping pong, pickleball can be played indoors or outdoors on a badminton-sized court with a slightly modified tennis net. It is played with a paddle and a plastic ball. ConejoRPD maintains two permanent pickleball courts at Del Prado Playfield in the Dos Vientos neighborhood of Newbury Park. There are also three indoor courts at the Thousand Oaks Community Center (which are also used for racquetball and wallyball). Contact Thousand Oaks Center staff directly for information about their pickleball courts at 805-381-2793.
