NOTICE OF BORCHARD SKATEPARK RENOVATION

2019 Borchard Skatepark Focus Group Application
2019 Borchard Skatepark Renovation Concept Diagram 11x17

The Conejo Recreation and Park District is starting a multi-year process to evaluate and formulate a recommendation regarding the future renovation of the existing skatepark at Borchard Community Park.

CRPD staff has met several times and developed a rough conceptual plan (CLICK ABOVE) of a potential renovation.

The next step in the process is to form a focus group with the community.  If you are interested in being on the focus group, complete an application at (CLICK ABOVE)  and return by Friday, June 14, 2019.

After the focus group is formed and has met, additional public outreach seeking ideas, input, and feedback, will be conducted.  If you are not interested in being on the focus group but are interested in being informed regarding the project, please contact Weston Montgomery at wmontgomery@crpd.org or (805) 381 – 2791 at the Borchard Community Center.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact Tom Hare at 805-381-1230 or thare@crpd.org

The Borchard Skatepark opened in 2002 in order to appeal to the rapid growth of the progressive sport of skateboarding, scooter riding, and BMX bikes. The Skatepark is just over 9,000 square feet with ledges, banks, rails, a hubba, and a quarter pipe. Visit us at 190 N. Reino Road, Newbury Park, CA 91320 or call 805-381-2791.
