Aerobic Dance

  • Gumby & Pokey Stretching Class

    • Wednesdays, 3:15-4:15pm
    • Free, ongoing drop-in program. 
    • Learn how to recover bone density, lower cholesterol, blood pressure, and ease the pain of arthritis by using a combination of static and active stretching techniques that gently stretch and elongate your muscles, reducing pain and inflammation.  Increased flexibility equals reduced injuries in day to day activities.

    Hula Exercise

    Zumba Gold

    • Designed for the active, older adult or the true beginner.  Dance fitness with internatinal music.  Efficient calorie burning while having the time of your life.

    Zumba Gold Toning

    • Mondays, 4:30-5:30pm
      March 5-April 23; (click here) to register.
    • Uses the basic Zumba Gold dance-fitness party and adds in lightweight Zumba Toning Sticks for muscle strength, tone, endurance, and improved fitness!  Please contact instructor for information on ordering sticks.
     These classes are taught by Del Herrera.  Registration is $67 per class, but you can get a $16 discount by signing up through the Goebel Senior Adult Center for both the Monday & Wednesday classes prior to the first class taking place.  Call (805) 381-2744 for more information.
